Nifty PSU Bank index closed up 3.39% at 5217.3 today. The index is up 13.00% over last one month. Among the constituents, Indian Overseas Bank added 17.47%, UCO Bank gained 15.10% and Punjab & Sind Bank jumped 12.32%. The Nifty PSU Bank index is up 66.00% over last one year compared to the 14.84% surge in benchmark Nifty 50 index. In other indices, Nifty PSE index added 1.40% and Nifty Realty index is down 1.37% on the day.
