Nifty PSU Bank index ended up 1.64% at 5019.65 today. The index has added 11.00% over last one month. Among the constituents, Central Bank of India jumped 10.89%, Indian Overseas Bank added 5.71% and UCO Bank gained 4.50%. The Nifty PSU Bank index has increased 56.00% over last one year compared to the 11.66% spike in benchmark Nifty 50 index. In other indices, Nifty Metal index increased 1.49% and Nifty Realty index gained 1.39% on the day. In broad markets, the Nifty 50 recorded a gain of 0.16% to close at 20103.1 while the SENSEX witnessed a rise of 0.08% to close at 67519 today.
